These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Noticeboard mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by Noticeboard ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Noticeboard is a digital platform that connects users with local businesses, events, places, and services. Our Service includes:

• Business listings and information
• Event announcements and details
• Location-based services and recommendations
• User-generated content and reviews
• Social features including likes, comments, and sharing

3. User Eligibility

To use our Service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

4. User Accounts and Registration

4.1 Account Creation

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining and updating your account information
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account

4.2 Account Security

5. User Content and Conduct

5.1 User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you create, upload, or share through our Service ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

5.2 Content Standards

You agree not to post, upload, or share content that:

• Promotes violence, discrimination, or hate speech

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any User Content that violates these Terms. We may also suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate our content standards.

You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Noticeboard, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion features in the Service.

11.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Zimbabwe, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

13.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Zimbabwe Arbitration Centre.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Noticeboard regarding the use of the Service.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights and obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
